History
Timberlake Christian Schools was founded in 1966 as a ministry of Timberlake Baptist Church. The school began with just a preschool. Its first senior class finished in 1979 with 14 graduates. It was the intention of the founders that a school should be created that would be thoroughly Christian; minister to Christian families; present a strong academic program; maintain high professional standards; provide proper facilities; create a base for evangelism; and motivate students toward Christian service.
Now, 40 years later, TCS has an enrollment of about 400 students at its two campuses. TCS has an alumni base of over 600 graduates. Our strong academics saw students scoring 19% above national average on 2005 testing. Ninety-five percent of our graduates go on to college, well above the national average. Most importantly, young people are being trained for service to Christ.
