Beginning this fall, we are building an electives program for our middle schoolers’ resource period. Some of these electives will be “typical” school offerings, such as Spanish and music. However, we also plan to offer some options like learning sign language, introduction to karate, and beginning robotics.
How can you help? If you (or someone you know) . . .
- Are a born again, dedicated believer who believes the Lord can use you to minister at TCS
- Have a special ability, interest, or hobby that would also interest kids in grades 6 – 8
- Have a heart and desire to work with about 10-12 of these kids
- Are willing and able to donate one hour weekly for 9 weeks
- Are willing to develop and prepare nine 45-minute lessons to share your interest with the kids
We are looking for you!
We are looking for some willing adults to expand our elective program offerings. Adults who join us will be carefully screened (just like any other regular TCS employee) and will receive help as needed with laying out lessons for a nine-week period. Options will be limited to classes that we can accommodate in our facilities.
